Nathan

Nathan came to Australia from the United States in 2005 and embarked on his career as a chef. He has always stayed true to the idea that France is the birthplace of modern cuisine. After travelling there and seeing all the country has to offer, Nathan's passions grew and he became even more inspired to bring a small piece of those experiences back to his restaurants. Through cooking classes and wine tastings, Nathan will share some of his secrets and tips for the perfect French feast. From choosing the best produce at the local markets, selecting the perfect matched wine, and following simple recipes this trip will be a learning experience as well as a memorable holiday.

Kate

Kate's love for France came later in life with her first visit in 2012. Since then the love affair has continued to grow. Kate has used her love of all things French in the design of multiple cafes, restaurants, and bars (Bistro at Banks, Kilgour Street Grocer & Cafe, Union Street Wine Bar, and Bistrot Plume). With each of these she has brought ideas and touches she has picked up along her travels. Kate loves to make people feel welcome and at home and she looks forward to hosting you and sharing her passion for the French countryside and way of life. She will no doubt share with you her ongoing experience of renovating a recently purchased house in the nearby countryside.
